Accommodation Options
 
Individual Immersion
 
The Immersion program is aimed at participants over the age of 18 who wish to spend 12 weeks or more studying English. Students are place in share unit accommodation close to university facilities. The students are responsible for their own transport, food and entertainment. Program staff provide initial assistance settling into the program then weekly visits and supervision as well as organised activities or outings once every 2 weeks. Homestay
 
Students are placed in accredited Australian family homes (twin share) The kids eat (3 meals /day) sleep and take part in family activities in the evenings. They are transported from the home to University for their English Lessons and Activities during the daytime. The students get a first hand experience at being part of an Australian family household and lifestyle. Recommended for older students Seniors 13-18 years of age.
 
Unit
 
4-6 students are placed in beach side units under the supervision of their own group leaders or a Summer Down Under Staff member. Depending on group size students eat meals at the unit or offsite at nearby commercial facilities. Activities are carried out as per residential programs onsite and offsite. Participants are transported to and from English and nature programs at nearby University or Nature Organisation facilities. Ideal for younger ages Juniors 8-12 years of age because of the small group sizes.
 
Residential
 
The Residential program involves the students being placed in cabins of approximately 10-12 in a camp facility which is fully equipped with catering, sports fields and classrooms. English program and activities will be carried out at the facility with additional offsite activities and visits as per program examples.
